|
Did you ever want to learn to knit? Are you
interested in making your own beaded jewelry?
You've heard the term Feng Shui but aren't sure what
it means? Well, just check out our class lineup for all
the answers. We are always looking for new class
ideas and new instructors, and we'll be adding
classes every week, so be sure to stay tuned!

Celebrate Martha's Freedom! |
|
We don't know about you, but we've had a big
Martha-shaped hole in our lives since she's been
doing her time. So, we're going to celebrate her
release with a party on March 6. We're planning a
Martha look-alike contest, flower arranging races,
and of course, lots of other good things. Mark
your calendar and plan to be there!

Love Books? Have Too Many? Want More? |
|
Clean out those bookshelves and bring your gently
used books to The Work*Shop book swap! For every
book you bring (in good to excellent condition) you'll
be able to trade for another! The more books you
bring, the more new-to-you books you'll get to take.
And please spread the word; the more people who
come, the more books we'll have. Leftover books will
be donated to a worthy charity, and we're open to
suggestions. When: Sunday, February 27, 12-4 p.m.
Cost: $3 per person or $5 for two. (Helps
pay the bills, you know.)

Afternoon Getaway for Parents and Kids |
|
The Work*Shop presents "Make Me a Story" every
Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Children and
their parent(s) will listen to a story and make related
projects. Upcoming projects include ocean life
figurines, bread plates, treasure boxes, bubble bath
and more.

Spotlight: Linda's Mirror |
|
This groovy "jester" mirror was Linda's first mosaic
project. She used irridescent purple and green tiles
accented with bright orange, and black grout. We
were all pleased with the outcome!
