Famous Artists (June 16-20)—Learn about famous artists and create crafts inspired by their work, including Matisse paper collages, Calder mobiles and more
Art & Science (June 23-27) —Use scientific principles to create art, including spin art, sink-and-float soap, solar system wind chimes, and more.
All About Austin (July 7-11)—Learn about our home city and make projects based on uniquely Austin ideas. Sample projects: origami bats, mosaic wildflower pots.
Green Crafting (July 14-18)—Go Green! Make totally cool stuff from recycled things. Sample projects include make-your-own shrink plastic, repurposing t-shirts, and found object mosaic.
Young Writer's Workshop (July 21-25) —A double dose of creativity! Make your own comic books, journals and bookmarks, and try different styles of writing.
Fab Fabrics (August 4-8)—Experience a variety of textile making and adornment techniques, including tie-dye, embroidery, silk painting, sewing, and more.
Crafting Trends (August 11-15) –Straight from the websites of the hippest of crafters, experience fun and exciting new craft media and projects, including polymer clay, felt creatures, shrink plastic, paper clay tile, and more.
2. Read Policy Statement and Submit Registration.
Policies: Camps are limited in size and are first-come, first-served. Your space will not be guaranteed unless you make payment via Paypal, or call us to arrange another form of payment. We reserve the right to re-schedule or cancel a camp that does not meet minimum attendance requirements. You will receive a confirmation e-mail once we have your payment - please do not assume your registration is complete until you receive this e-mail! Cancellations: We will issue full refunds (minus any processing fees) for cancellations received 72 hours in advance; 50 percent refunds for cancellations received 71-24 hours in advance; no refunds for cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice. No refunds will be given once camp begins.
